- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, salt, pepper, onion, and garlic powder.
- Mix gently until just combined.
- Roll mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- While meatballs bake, combine barbecue sauce, honey, and soy sauce in a saucepan.
- Heat sauce over medium-low heat, stirring until warm and glossy.
- Transfer cooked meatballs to a serving bowl.
- Pour honey BBQ sauce over meatballs and toss to coat evenly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve warm.
