- 1 teaspoon paprika

- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 cups panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot or fryer to 350°F.
- Slice onions into uniform rings and separate carefully.
- Mix flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
- Place buttermilk in a separate bowl.
- Dip onion rings into buttermilk, then flour mixture.
- Dip again into buttermilk, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
- Fry onion rings in batches for 2–3 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove with slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve immediately while hot and crispy.
