- 1 tablespoon avocado oil (or olive oil)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (or lemon juice)
- 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)

- Pinches of chili powder or smoked paprika (optional)
- Cooking spray or oil for greasing the grill
Instructions
- Peel, core, and slice the pineapple into ½ to ¾-inch thick rings or spears. Remove the fibrous core from each slice.
- In a small bowl, mix avocado oil, lime juice, honey or maple syrup, sea salt, and optional chili powder or smoked paprika.
- Coat the pineapple slices in the marinade and let sit for 5 to 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill or grill pan to medium heat (350°F to 400°F). Grease the grill grates.
- Grill pineapple for 3-4 minutes per side until grill marks appear and the fruit is caramelized and tender.
- Serve immediately. Optionally drizzle with more honey or lime juice.
