- 1½ tbsp fig preserves
- Sea salt, to taste
- ½ tsp diced fresh rosemary
- 1 tbsp chopped pecans
- 1 tbsp chopped dried figs
- 1 tsp pumpkin seeds (optional)
- 1 tbsp honey
- Toasted bread slices or bagel crisps (for serving)
- Fresh fruit like apples, pears, or grapes (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and position rack in the center.
- Carefully score and remove the top rind from the brie wheel, leaving the sides intact.
- Place brie in a small oven-safe dish or cast iron skillet.
- Spread fig preserves evenly across the exposed cheese surface.
- Sprinkle with sea salt and rosemary for aromatic depth.
- Top with chopped pecans, dried figs, and optional pumpkin seeds, gently pressing into the jam.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes until soft, gooey, and lightly bubbling.
- Drizzle with honey and serve immediately with toasted bread and fruit.
Notes
Use only 1½ tablespoons of fig preserves to avoid overflow. Don’t remove side rinds to prevent cheese from leaking. Serve within 10 minutes of baking for the perfect gooey texture.
