Ingredients

Scale
  • 120g butter, melted and slightly cooled
  • 130g caster sugar
  • 130g soft light brown sugar
  • 3 medium eggs, room temperature
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 200g plain flour

  • 75g white chocolate chips
  • (Optional) 2-3 tablespoons Carnation caramel for drizzle

Instructions

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter with caster sugar and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Whisk in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in flour gently until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
  5. Chop Twix bars into chunks and fold into batter with both chocolate chip varieties.
  6. Spread batter evenly into prepared tin and bake for 35-40 minutes until edges are golden and center has a slight wobble.
  7. Cool completely in tin, then refrigerate for 3-4 hours before cutting into squares.
  8. Drizzle with caramel before serving if desired.

Notes

Do not skip the cooling and refrigeration step – it ensures the perfect fudgy blondie texture. Use room temperature eggs for smooth incorporation.
