  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs

  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Mix in eggs one at a time, then vanilla extract.
  4. Whisk flour, baking soda, and a pinch of salt in a separate bowl.
  5. Combine dry ingredients with wet ingredients just until mixed.
  6. Fold in sourdough starter gently until evenly incorporated.
