Ingredients
Scale
- 2 lobster tails (5–6 oz each), fresh or thawed
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Substitution Options:
- Use 1 tsp garlic powder instead of fresh garlic
- Replace fresh parsley with 1 tsp dried
- Old Bay seasoning can replace paprika
- Use compound herb butter for added flavor
Instructions
- Preheat oven to broil on high and position rack 5–6 inches from the heat source.
- Using kitchen shears, cut along the top shell of each lobster tail and lift the meat through the opening to rest on top for presentation.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, lemon juice, paprika, and parsley.
- Brush the mixture generously over lobster meat, then season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Place tails on a rimmed baking sheet and broil for 6–10 minutes, until meat is opaque and shells are bright red.
- Remove from oven, drizzle with remaining garlic butter, garnish with parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
For the best results, avoid overcooking lobster. The internal temperature should reach 140°F and appear opaque. Serve immediately for peak tenderness and flavor.
