Description
These soft, fluffy dinner rolls come together in just 90 minutes and deliver perfect, bakery-quality texture — golden on the outside, pillowy on the inside, and irresistibly buttery.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 1/4 cups warm water (110-115°F)
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons active dry yeast
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 large egg
- 3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
- Melted butter for brushing
Instructions
- Line a 9×13 baking pan with parchment paper or lightly grease with butter.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let proof 2–5 minutes until foamy.
- Add oil, salt, egg, and flour (one cup at a time). Knead with dough hook for 4 minutes until soft and slightly sticky.
- Divide into 15 equal portions and shape into smooth balls. Arrange in the prepared pan.
- Cover with a towel and let rise while preheating oven to 375°F (30–40 minutes until doubled).
- Bake 20 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 190°F.
- Brush immediately with melted butter and serve warm.
Notes
Avoid over-flouring to maintain soft texture. Dough should feel slightly sticky. Let rolls rest after baking before serving for best texture.
