Ingredients

  • 1 cup full-fat cottage cheese
  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 1/4 tsp cream of tartar
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • Optional: 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp salt
  • Optional: 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • Optional: 1 tbsp fresh herbs (chives or parsley)
  • Cooking spray or parchment paper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the eggs, keeping whites free of any yolk.
  3. Whisk cottage cheese and egg yolks until smooth. Add optional seasonings as desired.
  4. Whip the egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form.
  5. Gently fold the whites into the yolk mixture without deflating.
  6. Scoop 6–8 rounds onto the baking sheet.
  7. Bake 25–30 minutes until golden with set edges.
  8. Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Use room-temperature eggs for best whipping volume. Fold gently to maintain airiness. Avoid baking hotter than 300°F to prevent toughness.
