- 12 large fresh strawberries
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons apricot jam
- 1 teaspoon water
- Optional: sliced almonds or crushed pistachios
Instructions
- Wash strawberries, remove tops, and carefully hollow out the centers.
- Sprinkle strawberries lightly with sugar and place cut-side down on paper towels.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth.
- Mix in condensed milk, lemon juice, and vanilla extract until creamy.
- Transfer filling to a piping bag.
- Pipe cheesecake filling into each strawberry.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
- Heat apricot jam with water until smooth.
- Brush glaze lightly over chilled strawberries.
- Garnish with nuts if desired and serve.
Notes
Use firm strawberries and fully softened cream cheese for best texture. These are best served the same day they are made.
