Description

Ingredients
Scale
- 1 can (8oz) crescent dough sheet or crescent roll dough
- 1lb ground beef or ground turkey
- 1 packet (1oz) taco seasoning
- 1 can (15oz) refried beans
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- 2 cups shredded cheese (Colby Jack, cheddar, or pepper Jack)
- Optional toppings: shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced green onions, olives, jalapeños, guacamole, salsa, sour cream
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Unroll crescent dough into the dish, sealing any seams if needed.
- Brown ground beef or turkey over medium heat until fully cooked, about 6–7 minutes, then drain excess fat.
- Add taco seasoning, refried beans, and chopped onion to meat mixture. Stir and cook until evenly combined and heated through.
- Spread mixture evenly over crescent dough base in the baking dish.
- Sprinkle shredded cheese generously over the top.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until crust is golden and cheese is melted.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Add desired toppings and serve hot.
Notes
Let dough sit at room temperature for 5 minutes before unrolling for easier handling. Add a splash of water to the meat mixture to keep it moist. Cover edges with foil if they brown too quickly.
