  • 1 lb (450g) salmon fillets, skinless and boneless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped green onions, for garnish
  • Sesame seeds (optional), for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cut salmon into 1-inch bite-sized cubes and season with salt and pepper. Lightly coat with cornstarch.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook salmon pieces in batches until golden and crispy, about 3–4 minutes per side.
  3. In another pan, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil, sauté minced garlic for 1–2 minutes.
  4. Add honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, and rice vinegar. Simmer for about 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Pour the glaze over cooked salmon, toss gently to coat, and let simmer for 2 more minutes.
  6. Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.

Notes

To make it healthier, consider baking instead of frying. Serve over rice, vegetables, or salad for a full meal.
