Instructions
Prepare the Lobster Tails
- Thaw frozen lobster tails overnight in the fridge or in cold water for 30 minutes.
- Use kitchen shears to cut along the top shell, stopping before the tail fin.
- Gently pull apart the shell to expose the meat. Remove the dark vein and rinse the tails under cold water. Pat dry.
Cooking Methods (Choose One)
Baking:
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the lobster tails on a baking sheet and brush them with melted butter.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
Grilling:
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (400°F).
- Grill the lobster tails meat-side down for 5-6 minutes, then flip and cook for 2-4 more minutes.
Make the Garlic Butter Sauce
- In a pan over medium-low heat, melt 2 tbsp butter.
- Add garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Stir in Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 2-3 minutes until thickened.
Assemble the Dish
- Pour the creamy garlic butter sauce over the cooked lobster tails.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Serve immediately with grilled asparagus, garlic mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
