Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon raw apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
- Juice of ½ lemon (freshly squeezed)
- ½ teaspoon fresh ginger (grated)
- 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 cup warm or room-temperature water
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon dried butterfly pea flowers
- Optional: ¼ teaspoon camu camu powder
- Optional: 1 teaspoon brewed yerba mate
Instructions
- In a glass, combine the apple cider vinegar and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
- Stir in the freshly grated ginger.
- Add raw honey or maple syrup if desired and stir until dissolved.
- Pour in the warm or room-temperature water.
- If using butterfly pea flowers, steep them in hot water for 10 minutes, strain, then add to the mixture. Stir in camu camu powder or yerba mate if using.
- Stir thoroughly and serve immediately, preferably on an empty stomach.
Notes
Start with a small amount and increase gradually to assess tolerance. For variety, try green tea instead of water or add turmeric and black pepper for enhanced benefits.
