- 2 beef steaks (ribeye or sirloin), room temperature
- 10–12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 1¼ cups heavy cream
- ⅓ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
- Lemon wedges for serving (optional)
Instructions
- Pat steaks dry and season generously with salt and black pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare, then remove and rest.
- Add remaining butter to the skillet and cook shrimp for 1–2 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
- Remove shrimp and reduce heat to medium.
- Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine pan drippings.
- Simmer gently, then whisk in Parmesan cheese and parsley.
- Return shrimp to the sauce and coat evenly.
- Serve shrimp and creamy garlic sauce over steaks and garnish with lemon wedges.
