Restaurant-quality garlic butter lobster tails made with fresh lobster, aromatic garlic butter, and simple seasonings, broiled to perfection in just minutes.

- 4 lobster tails (5–6 oz each)
- 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 3 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 1/4 teaspoons paprika, divided
- 1 1/4 teaspoons Old Bay seasoning, divided
- 1 1/4 teaspoons kosher salt, divided
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to broil and place the rack in the upper third.
- Cut the top of the lobster shells lengthwise using kitchen shears.
- Gently lift the lobster meat out while keeping it attached at the base.
- Place lobster tails meat-side up on a baking sheet.
- In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, lemon juice, lemon zest, parsley, paprika, Old Bay, salt, and black pepper.
- Reserve a small amount of the butter mixture for serving.
- Brush the remaining garlic butter generously over the lobster meat.
- Optionally sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, and extra seasoning.
- Broil for 3–8 minutes until opaque and cooked through.
- Spoon reserved garlic butter over the lobster and serve with lemon wedges.
Notes
Watch closely while broiling to avoid overcooking, as lobster cooks very quickly.
