Description

A luxurious yet quick seafood dish made with tender lobster tails and perfectly seared scallops, finished in a rich and aromatic garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 lobster tails, split in half
  • 8 large sea scallops, patted dry
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Remove lobster tails and scallops from the refrigerator and let them rest at room temperature.
  2. Pat scallops dry thoroughly and season scallops and lobster with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  4. Sear scallops for 2–3 minutes per side until golden, then remove and set aside.
  5. Add lobster tails flesh-side down and cook for 2–3 minutes per side until opaque.
  6. Reduce heat to medium and add butter to the skillet.
  7. Stir in minced garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.
  8. Add lemon juice and lemon zest to the pan.
  9. Return scallops to the skillet and spoon garlic butter sauce over the seafood.
  10. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

Avoid overcooking the scallops and lobster to keep the seafood tender and juicy.
