- 2 cups shredded cooked chicken (rotisserie recommended)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup buffalo sauce (Frank’s RedHot preferred)
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing (or blue cheese dressing)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Optional garnishes: chopped green onions, crumbled blue cheese, extra buffalo sauce drizzle
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Shred cooked chicken into bite-sized pieces and soften cream cheese to room temperature.
- In a large bowl, combine chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, and mozzarella cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy.
- Spread mixture evenly into a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.
- Top with remaining 1/2 cup cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and slightly golden on top.
- Let cool for 2–3 minutes, then garnish with green onions or blue cheese if desired.
- Serve warm with tortilla chips, celery sticks, carrots, or crackers.
Notes
To make ahead, assemble dip up to 2 days in advance and refrigerate until ready to bake. For a lighter version, substitute half the cream cheese with Greek yogurt and use light ranch dressing. Avoid overbaking to prevent oil separation.
